Adventures in the Bronze Age

Setting

My game setting is inspired by Bronze Age Greece.  When most people think of “Ancient Greece” what they are really imagining is Athens in the “Classical era” (4th, 5th & 6th centuries BC).  I am using the Trojan War era as my inspiration, which is 900+ years before. Reading and writing both exist, but they are not common.  Characters who wish to be literate have to take it as a Boon.

Game System

We are using Barbarians of Lemuria as the game system. The game has been around since 2015 (although the version I am using was released last year) and is focused on the sword & sorcery genre. Think Conan instead of Lord of the Rings).
